Victoria Beckham is planning on launching a budget version of her high-end designer fashion range. Hurrah!

The designer, 40, wants to make her luxury collection more high street and accessible to regular shoppers.

The former Spice Girl has been known to flog frocks that cost up to £3,650 and an alligator-skin bag that will set you back £18,000.

But Queen VB isn’t the only designer to make the move to a budget range.

Balmain, Versace and Matthew Williamson have collaborated with chain clothing store H&M.

Mum-of-four Posh reveals: “I’d like to create gorgeous clothes for women who can’t afford to pay designer prices. I want to make women feel sexy, ­whatever their budget is.”

“I think it’s important to look after my staff because I wouldn’t be where I am without them.”

 During the noughties, any mention of Britney’s undercrackers was usually in relation to their whereabouts (if found, please return etc.), but times have changed and while Britters is drawing attention to her nether regions again, it’s for all the right reasons.

Last night, the popstar launched her new range of underwear and sleepwear, called The Intimate Britney Spears, at New York Fashion Week inside the very refined surrounds of the New York Public Library (cue lots of sexy librarian references).

And can we just take a moment to say how fab she looked?

The collection is divided into 10 different themed lines (or ‘intimate stories’ as the PR folk call them), each named after a different flower.

The salon presentation was introduced by a poetic voiceover by the ‘hit me baby’ lady herself with lines like: ‘What I wear when the sky is silky black. And tomorrow is a promise, waiting to be kept. Intimate Britney Spears Collection.’ Err, right.

So far, so pretentious, but don’t let the marketing guff fool you – this is a really pretty collection that has surprised many. As one FROW-er put it last night: ‘Wow, a lot of the stuff actually seems wearable.’

The collection launches in Europe on September 26 and, frankly, the noughties fangirl inside us can’t wait.

The American plus-size model Ashley Graham

The American plus-size model Ashley Graham, in collaboration with the plus-sized online retailer Navabi, has unveiled her maiden lingerie line for the fuller figured women.

Inspired from the women of the golden classic era of Hollywood, the 19-piece innerwear range features bras in European sizes ranging from 36DD to 44E.

The collection includes eight bra designs, which include both padded balconette and non-padded underwire styles, with an array of matching high-waist knickers, lace boy shorts and embroidered thongs.

Based on a palette of pearl white and black colours, the sexy and sophisticated line also features a baby-doll dress and a V-neck chemise.

Headquartered in Aachen, Germany, the online shopping destination Navabi specializes in an array of designer fashions for curvy women.

The 27-year-old Ashley is known for her role as a lingerie model for the American plus-size women’s fashion chain Lane Bryant, which was founded in the year 1904. The company operates through a network of more than 812 stores in nearly 46 U.S. states. (PB)
